News: 2 days agoSoderblom allowed two goals on 35 shots in Friday's 2-1 overtime loss to Winnipeg.
Spin: Soderblom drew the start Friday as Chicago was on the front end of a back-to-back, and he may have earned himself more playing time moving forward. Laurent Brossoit (knee) is expected to form a tandem in net with Petr Mrazek when the former returns from injury, but Soderblom could force Chicago to keep three goaltenders on the roster if he continues to perform at a high level. On the other hand, Soderblom could head to AHL Rockford if Chicago opts to keep two netminders on the roster when Brossoit is healthy.
