News: 2 days agoLindgren turned aside 28 of 32 shots in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Devils.
Spin: Lindgren was victimized by the Devils' third line of Stefan Noesen, Erik Haula, and Paul Cotter, who combined for three of the five goals. The 30-year-old Lindgren enters the 2024-25 season atop the depth chart after Washington sent Darcy Kuemper to the Los Angeles Kings for Pierre-Luc Dubois in the offseason. Still, Lindgren must find his footing to fend off Logan Thompson for starts after the latter had a solid showing during the preseason.
