News: 8 hours agoSorokin was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, Ryan Boulding of NHL.com reports, indicating he will protect the road net Monday against Colorado.

Spin: Sorokin will make his season debut after Semyon Varlamov (0-1-1) played in the first two contests of the 2024-25 campaign. The 29-year-old Sorokin earned a 25-19-12 record with two shutouts, a 3.01 GAA and a .908 save percentage over 56 regular-season appearances in 2023-24. Even though Colorado hasn't picked up a victory yet this year, the team has scored eight goals in two outings.
