News: 21 hours agoReimer stopped 29 of 32 shots in a 3-1 loss to the Golden Knights on Sunday.
Spin: Reimer kept things even over the first two periods, but the Golden Knights pulled away with a pair of goals in the third, one of which came on a power play. Reimer was claimed off waivers from Buffalo before Opening Night as the Ducks wanted a veteran backup for Lukas Dostal while John Gibson (abdomen) is on the mend. Dostal put up a shutout in his first start of the year, so Reimer's playing time is likely to be sparse over the remainder of the month.
