News: 10 hours agoRoy (lower body) will be out of action for some games despite a day-to-day designation. Head coach Spencer Carbery told reporters Monday, "I don't think it's going to be crazy long but he's going to miss a decent amount of time," per Tarik El-Bashir of Monumental Sports Network.

Spin: While Carbery's comment is about as clear as mud, fantasy managers probably shouldn't be expecting Roy to play in at least the next 3-4 games due to his lower-body injury. With that being the case, the blueliner could be a candidate for a stint on injured reserve in order to free up a roster spot. Dylan McIlrath is expected to move into Roy's spot on the blue line alongside Martin Fehervary.
