News: 3 days agoTsyplakov scored his first career NHL goal in Thursday's 5-4 overtime loss against Utah.

Spin: Tsyplakov looked fairly comfortable in his first game on North American ice after coming over from the KHL. The 26-year-old offered two shots, six hits and a plus-1 rating in 20:46 of ice time to round out a solid fantasy performance. Tsyplakov is an intriguing player to keep an eye on given his physical play and promotion to New York's second line. The Moscow native also replaced Kyle Palmieri on the top power-play unit during the contest, so the former is clearly gaining head coach Patrick Roy's trust early on in the season.
