News: 4 days agoJosi registered a power-play assist, four shots on goal and two blocked shots in Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Stars.
Spin: Josi had the secondary helper on a Filip Forsberg tally in the second period. Last year, Josi finished above a point-per-game pace for the second time in three years, producing 23 goals, 62 assists and 33 power-play points over 82 regular-season contests. The 34-year-old defenseman played 29:07 in Thursday's season-opening loss, over 10 minutes more than the next closest Nashville blueliner (Brady Skjei, 19:00). Josi figures to see heavy usage in all situations, and outside of hits, he should be a steady fantasy contributor across the board.
