News: 2 days agoCouturier produced an assist in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Flames.

Spin: Couturier helped out on Joel Farabee's tally in the second period. The 31-year-old Couturier battled a sports hernia late last season, ending the year with 38 points in 74 appearances. Through two games in 2024-25, he's featured in a more limited role, averaging 14:10 of ice time per game while adding just one shot on net, two hits and two blocked shots. At his peak, Couturier was an excellent shutdown center with 70-point potential, but injuries have taken their toll on him. If he remains in a third-line role, his fantasy value is minimal, especially if he eventually loses out on power-play time.
