Fantasy Men's Basketball
News: 5 hours agoHaliburton won't play in Monday's preseason game against Memphis due to rest purposes.
Spin: Haliburton, Pascal Siakam and T.J. McConnell will all get the night off but should return to action for Thursday's preseason finale against the Hornets. Haliburton posted seven points (3-4 FG, 1-1 3Pt), four assists, one rebound and two steals in 18 minutes during last Thursday's preseason win over Cleveland.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Haliburton was in the midst of a giant leap in his fourth season when injury struck. Through his first 30 games, Haliburton was averaging 24.9 PPG (50.1 FG%, 86.3 FT%, 40.8 3P%), 12.7 APG, 4.1 RPG, 3.6 3PG, 1.0 SPG and 0.7 BPG with only 2.5 TO. Those numbers had him firmly in the top-5 of fantasy hoops rankings with a chance to challenge for the top spot. Unfortunately, he injured his hamstring in January and had to miss a lot of time, and even when he returned he was clearly not the same physically. If Haliburton returns to health and form, he could challenge Shai Gilgeous-Alexander for the most productive guard in fantasy basketball.
